Recognizing the growing plastic pollution in the Mississippi river, American River Cruise line wants to make a difference while also responsibly promoting local history.
Each of the Mississippi Routes has been transformed into vinyl records made from collected and recycled river pollution.
Aside from featuring musical legends made famous along the Mississippi, each record has a direct tie to the river that spawned them, as proceeds go to Living Lands & Water’s Great Mississippi Cleanup.

“We take pride in our river, and the musical visionaries we’re privileged to have shared her with. To celebrate both, we’re using recycling to transform trash into musical history. Using pollution plucked straight from the Mississippi, we’ve turned each of our routes into a collection of vinyl records featuring music from legends made famous along our soulful shores.
Beyond the songs, each record works to keep our beautiful river clean as all proceeds go to Living Lands & Waters’ Great Mississippi River Cleanup.”
